JOONA SALOKORPI

Joona grew up mostly in Finland but traveled extensively in his childhood because his mother was a writer and a freelance journalist. Having lived on the East Coast in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Portugal, Joona came to understand and appreciate the vast cultural differences among people around the world. More importantly, he understood from an early age that listening to others and understanding them is instrumental in helping them solve their problems. Because of this newfound wisdom combined with his selfless attitude, Joona was never interested in personal victories and instead always strived to make sure everyone in the team succeeded.

Joona focuses on providing assistance to homeowners and commercial property owners who have been mistreated by their insurance companies. He is passionate about obtaining the best possible outcome for his clients, who have undoubtedly been left in the dark abut what is rightfully owed to them under their policies. In addition to securing every cent owed to his clients under their policies, Joona is also committed to ensuring they remain informed about their rights and are not taken advantage of by their insurance companies going forward. As such, Joona strives to educate his clients on the complex world of insurance, and how to best avoid issues in the future were they to file a new insurance claim.

Prior to relocating to San Antonio, Joona spent a decade living in Southern California. After moving to Texas to attend St. Mary’s School of Law, Joona began his legal career at Stormlex interning as a law clerk. During his two years as a clerk, Joona came to appreciate the crucially important work that Stormlex does. More specifically, Joona soon noted Stormlex’s commitment to client success and the team’s persistence in resolving complex claims through effective solutions. As an attorney, he quickly translated his clerking experience into effective advocacy, developing a strong command of the work and continuing his tireless efforts to secure the best outcomes for his clients.
